We set-up our music store booth at several festivals around the U.S. each year.
At these events we show a cross-section of our high quality instruments and accessories.
Here is a list of shows we will attend in 2017:
WinterGrass Bluegrass Festival
Bellevue, WA - February 23-26, 2017 at the Bellevue Hyatt
This is always our biggest and best festival. This year will be our 19th year in a row!
We bring a choice selection from our store to this one! Our local luthier John Joyner will be on hand to advise on repairs and setup. We are always prepared to take trades on good quality instruments every year.
Lewis & Clark Campground - Kamiah, Idaho - May 2017
This is a spring "kickoff" festival for regional bands. Bands from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana wiill be performing onstage. Beautiful, shady campground with mature cottonwood tree shade. The only cost is a camping fee. Lots of great picking. We will not be taking the store, but Greg will be at the festival.
3rd Full Week in June 2017
Many regulars start showing up 2 or 3 days BEFORE the official opening. There are great camps for old-time and celtic, bluegrass, swing, etc. At this time, we are unsure if we will setup the store there, but several personnel will be in attendance at the festival.
Darrington Bluegrass Festival
Darrington, Washington - Mid-July 2017
We've been regulars at Darrington for about 20 years now! This is the longest festival in the NorthWest, running steadily now for about 30 years. Lots of good times here, lots of shady camping, great cold water swimming, and very high muscianship in the local pickers! There are no showers - you'll be bathing in the river.
10 Miles South of Hamilton, MT off Highway 93 - 3rd Weekend in July, 2017
We may not have a booth there, but Greg Boyd, Britt Arnesen, Bill Neaves and John Joyner will be there performing in bands at the festival. This is a real, old time festival. No running water, but the Bitterroot River is close by for swimming. Beautiful views of mountains and valleys as festival is perched on a finger ridge of the Bitterroot Mountains.
Pocatello, ID - August 2017
We'll have the full booth setup with all the goodies you know you want (and some that you don't yet know you want).
Weiser, ID - Late May 2017
At historic Slocum Hall in Weiser, the Banjo Camp gets bigger and more exciting every year! In 2015, Greg Boyd, our Banjo Doctoer, showed up with his tool kit and helped setup banjos, keeping everyone well-strung, tuned, and intonated. The brand new Huber Roanoke showed up via air freight just in time. We are definitely planning to show up to more banjo camps in the future!
