New. Very nice A-model from Collings. Highly figured Maple back, sides and neck. Englemann Spruce top. Matte nitro cellulose finish on back, sides and back of neck. High gloss nitrocellulose finish on Ebony peghead veneer and on custom black top. Ivoroid binding around top edge, instead of tortoise. Radiused Ebony fingerboard with graduated pearl dot inlays. Tuners have ivoroid buttons to match the ivoroid bindings on body.
     Collings pearl logo inlaid in headstock. 2-pc Ebony adjustable "Loar-style" bridge. One-pc nickel plated tailpiece.
     The great Maple "figure" in this mandolin is nicer than we expect to see on most MT models.
     This mandolin is all set to play and sounds great.
