"Custom A - Old Wood - Oval Hole"  These are just some of the finest oval hole mandolins! We could go on and on about the perfection of attack, and tonal depth and shape. No kidding at all... this mandolin is right up there with Nugget and Gilchrist oval hole A-models. Made with old tonewood 50-100 years old that Weber acquired from a long-time violin maker. And the beauty of it... its gorgeous, with pumpkin top and red back, sides and neck. I will say that this fine mandolin will rival just about any oval-hole mandolin you put in next to it. The sound is really just fantastic. Top has X-bracing. Radiused Ebony fingerboard. 2-piece Brekke bridge.  We have had many of these in a row, and they are all really great in producing the "special" tones that are usually only found in very expensive mandolins.
