This guitar is "wide open" and full sounding now, yet people who know Roy Noble guitars understand how they open up even further over months and years of use.
It is almost impossible to find a luthier like Roy Noble with 50 years experience building guitars. These very fine tone producers represent the best of old-world lutherie. Roy Noble not only builds guitars of his own design inside and out, but does it alone, with no helpers or apprentices or pre-cut parts. The sound is "extra special", with tonal purity pouring out of the guitar with lots of volume and lots of projection and carrying power.
