1970 Martin D-35 Guitar - Sold

Sold
Exc condition. There are a couple of incidental marks here and there on the guitar, but nothing to worry about. Some "polite" lacquer checking. Fret wear is minimal. No cracks. Bridge replaced with handmade copy.
Indian Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and choice Sitka Spruce top. Ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Original Nickel Patent Pending Grover Rotomatic tuners in great shape. Multiple bindings along top, back and sides of body. Bound fingerboard.
This guitar is in great playing condition. Typical of many early '70's Martin guitars, this guitar had bridge located so that the saddle would not allow the guitar to intonate correctly. Our local Luthier, John Joyner, made an excellent copy with saddle situated so that the guitar now plays correctly in tune. You can't tell the work was done... and if I didn't mention it, you probably would never know...
This guitar is set-up up very well with nice med-low action and sounds very good.
