Exc condition. Mahogany veneer over Birch Ply construction. Some flaking of lacquer right at neck joint at heel. Not much player wear. Plays and sounds great.

     Exc(+) condition. There is one miniscule ding on the top, and one knick on the side. Aside from those two small marks, the guitar is in new condition.
     Birch body with "red sunset" finish. "Lotus" cover plate. Square neck with 25" scale. Ebony fretboard with Mother of Pearl "Hearts and Flowers" inlays. The entire body of the guitar including the neck and peghead are triple bound with Maple. Ebony peghead veneer with Hearts inlay and "Mike Auldridge" signature. Gotoh tuners.
     This is an exceptional sounding resophonic. Excellent depth, clarity and punch. It's got big resonant bass and pristine highs. Each of the MA-6's are played and signed by Mike Auldridge before leaving the shop. This is a really great instrument that anyone would be lucky to own.

     New. Full body Model E, with highly figured Maple back, sides, neck, top and peghead overlay. Sunburst finish. Fully bound body and neck.
     These guitars have a very full and commanding sound.

     Exc(+) condition. All solid Maple construction. Three very minor dings on top of the body above bass side screen hole near the fretboard. These are hard to spot at first - please see photos. Otherwise this instrument is in new condition. No evidence of hand wear on coverplate.
     Exceptionally figured Maple top, back, sides, neck and peghead overlay. Ebony fingerboard with tasteful pearl inlays. Fully multiple-bound top, back, fingerboard and headstock, with flamed Maple outer bindings. Pre-war style open-back Nickel Waverly tuners. Nickel coverplate, screens and tailpiece. Nickel strap lock installed by Beard for the endpin.
     These Model E's have been a mainstay "flagship" guitar from Beard for almost 10 years. They are known for having a big professional sound, with the solid Maple adding distinct wood flavor to the great sound.

     Excellent condition. Custom guitar. No problems. No dings or dents. Only slight signs of playing on the tradtitional fan coverplate.
     Model R built with traditional birch ply construction, like the Mike Auldridge model is made of. Custom red sunburst finish.
     Flamed Maple bindings around top and back of body and along fingerboard. Ebony fingerboard with cut diamond pearl inlays. Beard logo inlaid in pearl in peghead.
     The sound from the birch body is vary fast and clear with lots of power and good depth. It is set-up very well.

     New. This is the newest addition to Beard's repertoire of professional reso guitars. While it still fits in with the other Beard models quite well, it does exhibit some interesting new design concepts, both visually and tonally. All Solid Wood construction, like most Beard Model E guitars, but this one has beautiful Mahogany back, sides and neck and an extremely nice solid Spruce top.
     Multiple wooden bindings throughout, with Flamed Maple outer bindings, on top and back edge, along fingerboard and around headstock. Stylized cut diamond pattern pearl inlays in Ebony fingerboard. Waverly pre-war style tuners. Custom-made "Solar" coverplate. Single oval soundhole in center of top at end of fingerboard.
     Everything is 'tip-top' about this guitar. The colors are very tasteful. The Red-Brown of the Mahogany is perfectly mated to the slightly antique'd blonde Spruce top. As a bonus, you can look into the soundhole to get a look at the great construction of the sound baffling.
     In short, this is a truly great reso guitar for looks, for construction, for feel, and for tone. It sounds very big and full just as it is, acoustically, but it is set-up up by Paul Beard with a Fishman pro sadle pickup, which is a great pickup for use with the Fishman Aura Imaging system.
