Description
This is a partial 1927 Gibson Pot Assembly with some choice components. It is an archtop pot assembly from a 1927 Gibson RB-3 RB-4 banjo.
The original 3-ply Maple rim is in very nice condition, with no lacquer problems and no air gaps in glue joints, etc.
Included:
- No-hole Archtop Tone Ring
- 3-ply Maple Rim SN: 8886-18 – all original excellent condition
- Tension Hoop
- Tube and Plate Flange
- Pre-war Presto Tailpiece – never punched for middle G string
- Arm Rest
Not included: Hooks and nuts, resonator hardware, coordinator rods. And, no neck or resonator.
