No repairs, no problems. Tuners changed to modern gold Schallers. Original Ebony bridge. Original tailpiece that has been coated with gold.

Everything about this mandolin is the best. This is the best condition bowl-back mandolin we have ever had. Made of Brazilian Rosewood strips with Mahogany neck. Rosewood strips have light wood in between. Ebony fingerboard. Ebony peghead overlay. White bindings with houndstooth purfling inside top edge. The Spruce top is just a wonderful piece of wood. Fingerboard has original small frets and large pearl dots. Bone or ivory nut may be original. Colorful wood soundhole rosette bound on the inside with white binding.

Tone is very strong, much stronger than you would expect.
