This 1950’s Gibson banjo has many more years of playing in store! This is an excellent vintage banjo to start off a young player, or for anyone as an extra banjo to take festivals, or keep at your cabin, boat, or living room!

Mahogany neck with flat Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Dot pearloid inlay markers in fingerboard, and side dots. Gibson logo decal in gold at top of blackened peghead. Sunburst resonator with Mahogany colored Maple sidewalls and sunburst mildly figured back. Original jumbo frets from Gibson in good shape. The frets show moderate wear on the first three frets. Newer bone nut. Brass bead archtop tonering. 5-ply Maple laminate rim.

Original Grover Pancake tuners with original Grover friction peg 5th.

Resonator back bound only, with cream binding. All original lacquer in great shape. Sunburst is vivid and beautiful.

Railroad spikes professionally installed at A, Bb, and B positions.
