1954 pot SN#4-2433-179
1965 neck SN#340590.
The original hardware of the 1954 pot has great patina from natural oxidation. Most of the hardware can be easily recognized as original. Thumbscrews appear to be newer. The wood rim and the finish are in good shape, too.
Maple rim and Maple resonator with Mahogany neck. Antique’d white bindings around resonator and along fingerboard AND peghead. Tobacco brown and gold sunburst finish. Bowtie peghead with Gibson logo block letters inlaid, with Crown inlaid below the logo. Original monstrously heavy tuners (like Buick bumpers), have been replaced with later ’60’s or early ’70’s Gibson 2-band offset tuners.
Four-hole original archtop tonering.
Comes with hardshell case.
