Description

Exc(-) condition.  SN# 155887.
1 11/16″ width at nut.

Great sounding “single 0” size guitar. Mahogany back, sides and neck. Appears to be an Adirondack red spruce top.
Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge and peghead overlay.

Pearl dot inlays in fingerboard. Fingerboard and frets show light player wear.
One area of Spruce top shows old expert repair – the top was cracked cross-grain, along an X-brace, but was repaired professionally. The corresponding brace was not affected. There is overspray around the repair and the whole guitar was buffed out so the repaired area wouldn’t stand out as too shiny.
Original tortoise pickguard. Brazilian Rosewood bridge has cut-thru bone saddle and bone pins.
Original tuners have been replaced (upgraded?), with newer pre-war style open-back Grover tuners installed.

This is a wonderful sounding guitar, with lots of punch and good tonal balance. For a fairly small body guitar, this has lots of tone and it sounds good fingerpicked or flatpicked.
Comes with a good HC.
