The electronics on this guitar are a product of their time and very quirky by today’s standards. The 3 DeArmond gold foil pickups are original and produce a very clear and bell-like sound. Each is controlled by an individual on/off switch that allows any combination of the pickups. Each pickup has its’ own volume and tone controls which are outfitted with very cool clear plastic knobs. At some point this guitar was modified with a Bigsby B7 vibrato which would typically be found on the very similar H-78 model. Equipped with a 2-pc metal, compensated adjustable bridge.

This is a player’s instrument, there are some very light scratches on the body and a patch of finish has been worn away on the back of the neck. Extensive finish checking throughout that looks very appropriate on an instrument of this vintage. All of the electronics work and this guitar sounds very lively and has good bit of punch.

Comes with Guild hard case.

This guitar is currently On Hold for a customer.
