This 1966 vintage Gibson ES-335 originally came with a Bigsby from the factory. The previous owner removed the Bigsby and had a stop tailpiece professionally installed, like the early ES-335s had. There is only a few holes at the endpin area to remind you that a Bigsby had been once installed. The “TDC” stands for thin, double-cutaway.

Blackened peghead veneer shows Gibson pearl logo inlay at top and Gibson crown in center. Original black/white truss rod cover and screws. Appears to be original Gibson nut. Large frets with almost no sign of playing. Rosewood fingerboard has pearl block inlays. Pickguard has been removed and is in the case. Similarly, pickup covers have been removed and are in the case.

Typical “335” configuration, with two humbucking pickups at neck and bridge. Tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece. Three-way pickup selector and individual volume and tone knobs for each pickup. Label is intact. Modern Schaller tuners.

Maple body guitar with Mahogany neck. The neck shows significant wearing of the finish through to the wood, naturally from playing and handwear. Antiqued cream bindings on top and back edge of body and along fingerboard. The double-cutaway allows for access to the 22nd fret easily. One area of belt buckle wear on back, and one area of fingernail wear on top.

Comes with original hard case, that has some duct tape on it from edges coming loose.
