Exc(-) condition   SN: 91011297
A generous 1-5/8 Width at nut

This 1970’s Takamine N-20 has a nice ropey Mahogany neck, Mahogany back and sides, and a solid Western Red Cedar top.

The Rosewood peghead overlay has Takamine decal in the center. Appears to be the original nut which is in good condition. The Rosewood fingerboard does not have inlays, but there are white side dot position markers on the bass side of the guitar. The frets show moderate wear in the first two positions. The Gold tuners are marked “Takamine”, but look like Schaller or Ping. Cream binding on the top and back edges of the body, with multiple black accent lines seen on the inside of the top edge. Cream colored heel cap, end wedge, and cream center line in Mahogany two-piece back. The Western Red Cedar top is a lovely choice for the grain and for the tone. The Rosewood bridge has a two part bass/treble saddles with a pin-less bridge.

Most of the wear on the guitar is on the top; there is a good deal of soundhole wear from regular playing, as a well as various random little dings and scratches. The back is in great condition, the sides are in good shape, and the neck is in fine condition with just a slight bit on wear from playing.

The tone is really great. This is a great guitar to sing with, to flatpick, and great to strum. Comes with a good hardcase.
