This 1978 Gibson “The Paul” is a solid Walnut Les Paul with no bindings, no Maple carved top. It was meant to be a more affordable version of Gibson’s Les Paul.
The guitar has noticeably been played and loved. It has “the look” of a well-played gigging guitar. Two humbucking p/u’s without covers. Separate vol and tone controls for each pickup, as well as the normal 3-way selector switch. Everything is working fine. Medium weight. Ebony fingerboard.
Comes with a roadrunner plastic molded hard case. Call for description of case.
