Almost all the wear on this mandolin is concentrated in one area, where fingers would plant on the treble F-hole, with some wear on the inside edge of the F-hole. You may notice some photos are without pickguard, and some show pickguard. Pickguard currently installed.

Play this mandolin and you will understand why Gilchrist is legendary for tone. This is a great-sounding mandolin with a Gibson Loar-style attack and clear bell tones. Powerful.
