This 1997 Martin DC-1 has a Solid Spruce top, and Solid Mahogany back, sides and neck. * Newer models DO NOT use Mahogany for all these parts!
The Rosewood peghead overlay has the “Martin & Co.” decal at the top, and there are Nickel close-back martin tuners with Nickel buttons. The Rosewood fingerboard has pearloid dot inlays and white side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. The Mahogany neck is a nice shallow “C” profile, and there are no dings or scratches. Nickle strap button installed in the correct location on the heel.

The Solid Sitka Spruce top is in very nice shape with nearly no sign that this instrument has been played or even picked up very often. There is a fairly simple soundhole rosette consisting of three concentric circles of white and black alternating lines. Tortoise plastic pickguard and tortoise plastic binding found on the Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back. The Rosewood Bridge has a white nut and white plastic bridge pins with black dots. There is a simple thin black line down the center of the Mahogany back. Black endwedge and a white plastic endpin with a black dot.

This 1997 Martin DC-1 is in really great shape and it has nice rounded tone. Comes with the original hard case.
