This 1998 Givens Legacy A-6 is pretty nice. Two-piece book-matched highly figured Maple back. Nice Maple sides and neck. Neck profile is a tapered “U”. Completely multiple bound with Ivoroid multiple bindings around headstock, fingerboard, top and back edges of body. Sienna sunburst finish. Engelmann Spruce top and bracing. Ebony 2-pc adj bridge. Gold 2-pc. tailpiece. Gold Schaller tuners with Pearloid buttons. Ebony end pin.

Elaborate “torch” inlay in headstock. Bone nut. Ebony, radiused fingerboard with full profile frets. “Snowflake” inlays in fingerboard – a few are worn from playing. Blackened back of headstock.

Peghead face is in good shape, but with a few stray scratches. Three of the snowflake inlays have worn engraving in the pearl. Top has a couple of dings. Slight hand wear in first position on the back of neck on treble and bass side.

In great shape with real good sound and beautiful look. Comes with triangular travel light case.

This sound clip video is of the same builder and model of mandolin, but a different serial number (11).
