This 1998 Weber Bighorn 2-Point Mandola is a gorgeous piece. It has a great vibrant blonde color on the Spruce top, and Flame Maple back, sides, and neck. Great attention to detail went into this mandola.
The Ebony peghead overlay features a pearl diamond inlay in the center, “The Weber” inlaid in pearl above it, and ivoroid binding on the top edge. Truss rod access above the bone nut. Nickel 4-on-a-plate engraved tuners with pearloid buttons. The “C” profile Flame Maple neck is a nice full profile, and it does not have any wear. The Ebony fingerboard has very small diamond pearl inlays, and black side dot position markers on the bass side of the ivoroid fingerboard binding.
The Spruce top shows some light signs of wear, but it is in overall great shape. Custom two-piece Ebony adjustable bridge, and a custom Nickel tailpiece with the Weber logo in the center. Ivoroid binding on the top edge. The Flame Maple back and sides have some beautiful grain. Very light signs of wear. Ivoroid binding on the back edge.
This 1998 Weber Bighorn 2-Point Mandola is a very nice instrument in great condition. Comes with the heavy duty original hard case.
