This resophonic Style O guitar by National is in great shape, with only a little clouding and slight wear in the nickel plating. A little wear on the coverplate in the hand playing position.

Generous wide Maple neck has an early V profile but by the third fret, is turning into a U by the heel of the neck. The neck is sunburst like dark ice tea. The slotted peghead shows metal National emblem at top and ivoroid truss rod cover near nut. The open-back tuners are three-on-a-plate with metal buttons. Bone nut. Radiused Gabon Ebony fingerboard has ivoroid binding and black dots on the bass side for position markers. Ivoroid dot inlays in fingerboard.

The body is brass plated with nickel, with etched island scenes on front and back, and a glass beaded decorative strip around the sides.

These single cone Nationals that use a resonator cone with biscuit bridge on top have lots of power and projection. The best ones also have just the right of hollow, echo-ey sound. This guitar gives a great variety of nice, robust tones.

Comes with good hard case.
