Built by Jim Triggs in Lawrence, KS; this guitar is most similar to an L-5. Figured Maple back, sides, and neck. High grade Spruce top. Ebony peghead overlay has Triggs pearl logo inlaid at top. Pearl spartan helmet inlaid at center. Asymmetric Ebony truss rod cover. Ebony 2-pc. adjustable bridge. Ebony fingerboard has pearl split block position markers and black side dot markers. Ebony pickguard with Bartolini pickup and volume and tone controls. Bone nut. Cutaway has a very nice shape to it, somewhere in-between a Venetian and Florentine style. Gold Grover Imperial tuners. Gold, fine-tuner, finger tailpiece. Nickel endpin jack. Black strapbutton professionally installed at heel. Peghead and neck have 3-ply binding on face and sides. Body has 5-ply binding on front, 3-ply on the sides with solid ivoroid back binding. Black heelcap. F-holes have solid ivoroid binding.
This guitar is in great shape save for some small touches on the body near the bass side f-hole, the binding near the tailpiece and on the back of the neck.
Comes with original hard case.
