This Collings has Indian Rosewood back and sides, a German Spruce top, and a mahogany neck.
Mahogany peghead overlay is multiple bound with ivoroid and has Pearl Collings logo at the top “Haircut peghead”. Nickle Schaller mini tuners. The radiused Gabon Ebony fingerboard has graduated pearl dot inlays. The fingerboard is multiple Ivoroid bound and has black position dots on the bass side of the binding. There is an Ivoroid heel cap and a professionally mounted strap button on the heel.
The German Spruce top edge has multiple Ivoroid binding with multiple areas of purfling inside the binding; Similarly the soundhole has Ivoroid and multiple wood strips around the soundhole rosette. There is a tortoise celluloid pickguard. There is a Gabon Ebony straight bridge with boxed saddle. There are Ebony bridge pins and end pins.
The Indian Rosewood back of the guitar has a wood strip down the middle and shows Ivoroid multiple binding from the back. Has a mitered end wedge.
This guitar is in great shape with just about perfect frets, and has no divots in the fingerboard. There are a series of little bumps along the top due to the guitar being played and bumped against a microphone and other surfaces. The back of the peghead shows some chipping, and the neck has a couple hardly noticeable dings.
Comes with Santa Cruz hard case.
