Radiused Fingerboard

This 2005 Mahogany Prucha Professional is a great tool for any serious banjoist. Handmade in Czech Republic by Jaroslav Prucha and his son John. But wait – not only did they handmake this banjo, they also made all of the metal and wood components for it, too! *And… many of the most high-end banjo builders around the world also use these Prucha banjo parts, made in the Czech Republic by Jaroslav Prucha.

Beautiful, straight-grained Mahogany neck and resonator. Multiple Ivoroid binding on neck and resonator, showing Ivoroid/black/Ivoroid seen from the top face, back face and sides of resonator and side of fingerboard. Ptacek tuners with Schaller 5th, all with matching amber buttons. Nickel hardware is in extremely good condition. 2-hump Clamshell tailpiece. Radiused Ebony fingerboard with “stylized parallelogram” inlays. Ebony peghead veneer with JPrucha inaid in pearl and “floral spray” below. Ebony truss rod cover has Abalone inlay. Ebony heelcap.

This is a great banjo. The condition is fabulous and the tone is nice and full, with a rolling growl. Nice new professional fretwork. Comes with HC.
