Beautiful antiqued look with 3-color sunburst.
2-pc. alder body with joint line on bass side of guitar. Interesting grain character in alder wood. This guitar is all-original except the stock 57/62 pickups are replaced with “Dimarzio Collection” pickups, and the tremolo arm is missing. Faithfully built like a ’62 strat. Peghead in great shape, just a couple of bang marks on the low “E” tuner corner near the nut on bass side. Fender Stratocaster decal in peghead. Single string tree. Radiused rosewood slab fingerboard with dot inlays. Back of neck shows lots of character in the maple. Neck heel has “crafted in Japan” decal and serial number. 4-bolt backplate is blank. Cream multi-layer pickguard. 5-way selector switch-tip, 3 control knobs, backplate and pickups all show antique cream look. Tremolo bridge has original “ashtray” cover. Not much wear across the guitar. Just a few areas of random touch marks and dings. Fret wear is negligible.
Guitar feels great, looks great, and has a nice medium weight and great balance. The resonance is good throughout, even without plugging in.
Comes with gig bag.
