Burled Walnut resonator, with nice Walnut neck. Dbl-cut peghead with abalone H&F inlay pattern in peghead and in flat Rosewood fingerboard. Multiple ivoroid bindings on resonator and neck. Concentric circles in resonator back. Nickel hardware.
Prucha/Ptacek flathead tone ring on excellent 3-ply Maple rim. Ptacek 2-band offset main tuners with Schaller 5th peg. Tuner buttons are beautiful and creamy, almost like milky-white Tiffany Glass.
This is a great sounding banjo in very nice original condition. Like every Prucha banjo, it was hand built by Jaroslav Prucha and his son, John, using all major professional parts.
