This 2006 Roy Noble Mahogany Deluxe Dreadnought is a powerful instrument in great playing shape. High grade Spruce top packed with bearclaw figure. Amazon Mahogany back, sides, and shallow “U” profile Mahogany neck.
The Rosewood peghead overlay features a single diagonal strip inlaid across the Rosewood Peghead Veneer. Maple truss rod cover with “Noble” decal in the center. Nickel Waverly tuners. The Ebony fingerboard does not have any inlays, but it does have white side dot position markers. The shallow “U” profile Mahogany neck is in good shape with a few small dings. Nickel strap button installed in the correct position on the heel. Rosewood heelcap.
The Spruce Top has some lovely coloration and bearclaw figure. Tor-Tis brand pickguard, Gabon Ebony bridge with bone pins and saddle, herringbone soundhole rosette, and five lines of Ebony and Maple purfling inside the Rosewood binding on the top edge. The soundhole rosette has wooden herringbone purflings. The top shows some dings in the finish, mostly around the edges. Amazon Mahogany back and sides are in good shape besides dings and scratches in the finish that show up when light reflects off of the finish. This wear is most likely from a belt buckle and shirt buttons. K&K pickup installed with end pin jack.
This 2006 Roy Noble Mahogany Deluxe Dreadnought has signs of player wear here and there, but it plays and sounds so good you’ll forget about any visual imperfections. Great tone and playability. Comes with the original hard case.
The wood choices on this guitar are wonderful. Not only is the Spruce top packed with prominent bearclaw figure, the Mahogany back, sides and neck are “Amazon” Mahogany. This beautiful Mahogany is golden-blonde and has a shimmer to the grain that is very striking.
Even though this guitar shows player marks and dings it is great. The dings seem to fade into obscurity on the guitar. The set-up is good and the sound is tremendous!
Comes with a slightly blemished original TKL AVS hard case.
