This is a fine F-5.  Its in nice condition and with excellent playability and voice.
Will Kimble built this mandolin in honor of Butch Baldassari and Butch’s 1925 Gibson F-5 mandolin.

Traditional F style with Highly figured 2-pc Maple back, Maple sides, and Maple neck. Adirondack Red Spruce top. Varnish finish.

Wonderful craftsmanship everywhere. Perfect scrolls and points and excellent bindings, inlays and color.
Multiple Ivoroid bindings all over, with black accent line seen on faces of top and back edge, top of peghead, and along sides of fingerboard.
Gold hardware, including Gold Waverly tuners with Ebony buttons and James tailpiece with Kimble logo engraved in hinged cover.

Neck has rounded Vee profile. Ebony peghead veneer with Kimble logo pearl inlay at top, Abalone floral pattern in center, and black truss-rod cover. Flat Ebony fingerboard has pearl dot inlays and tasteful s-curve at end of fingerboard. Traditional F-5 style adjustable 2-pc Ebony bridge.
Ebony abbreviated pickguard has multiple bindings to match the mandolin. K and K dual element internal pickup installed.

Exc(-) condition with some minor dings and scratches. Moderate fret wear. No structural issues at all and no buzzing. Some scuffing on back of peg head from a clip on tuner missing the pad. Also some small marks from where an armrest was attached (armrest included if buyer wants it). This is a very good mandolin that plays and sounds great.
