Description
This 2008 John Walker Wise River is in fantastic shape. Light signs of fret wear, but it has almost no sign of player wear around the rest of the instrument. Red Spruce top with Honduran Mahogany back, sides, and neck.
The Ebony peghead overlay features a Mother of Pearl “Walker” inlay at the top, and an Ebony truss rod cover above the bone nut. Nickel Waverly tuners with nickel lobed buttons. The rounded “V” profile Honduran Mahogany neck is very comfortable, and it has no dings or scratches. Ebony fretboard with small MOP dot inlays and white side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. Nickel strap button installed in the correct location on the heel.
The Sunburst Red Spruce top is in great shape with only a few stray dings and scratches. Tiger stripe pickguard with white/tortoise/white soundhole rosette. Ebony bridge with bone through-saddle, and boxwood bridge pins with MOP dots. Ivoroid binding on the top edge of the 0f the Red Spruce top. Honduran Mahogany back and sides are in great shape with nearly no sign this guitar has been owned and played. Ivoroid binding on the back edge of the Honduran Mahogany back. Ivoroid end wedge has a boxwood end pin with an MOP dot.
This guitar has been kept in great shape since it was finished in 2008. Comes with the original AVS hard case.
