This 2011 Weber Gallatin A mandolin with oval soundhole is a pretty nice mandolin. Traditionally constructed, with flamed Maple back, sides and neck and a Spruce top.
No bindings. Satin Finish.
Recent fret milling – frets are nice with no wear. There are 4-5 edge scuffs around top edge that have been cosmetically touched-up and 2 on back edge. These touch-up areas are readily apparent when you look for them, but are not readily seen by others in a jam while you play the mandolin. Chocolate brown matte finish.
Nickel Weber 1-pc cast tailpiece. Nickel tuners with pearloid buttons.
This mandolin sounds very good. Lots of presence and projection. Playability has just been dialed-in. It sounds real good and comes with the original shaped hard case.
