This Ratliff B-5 mandolin features a figured maple back and sides, two-piece figured maple back, and traditional spruce top. Cream binding runs along the top edge. The front of the peghead has a “Ratliff” silkscreen logo and the back is blackened. Gotoh tuners with black buttons complete the tasteful look.
The smooth rosewood fingerboard has a clean, unadorned look with no inlays. There is a bone nut and a two-piece adjustable ebony bridge. The mandolin also features a Macassar ebony pickguard and a two-piece engraved tailpiece.
This is a high-quality mandolin with elegant design. Comes with original hard-shell case.
