Sitka Spruce top with Herringbone purfling and Ivoroid binding. Indian Rosewood back and sides. Back has multiple Ivoroid bindings and decorative “zipper” center-seam inlay. Mahogany neck. Radiused Ebony fretboard with Abalone “cut-diamond” inlays. Nickel Martin tuners. Bone nut and saddle. Nut width is 1 3/4″.
Sound is very open and powerful. These Eric Clapton models are consistently some of the very best from Martin. Greg has had quite a few Eric Clapton models in the store in the time he has done business, and he says “this is the best one for quality of sound and condition of the instrument.”
