This is a very nice 2014 Taylor 522 guitar. It has had only one careful previous owner, who used it on Sundays to break quarantine in Boise, Idaho and play lonesome songs for free BBQ.
Slotted headstock, with Ebony overlay with ivoroid Taylor logo inlay at top. Ebony truss-rod cover above nut. Gabon Ebony fingerboard with ivoroid cat-eye inlays.
All Mahogany construction, on the Top, Back, Sides and Neck. Ivoroid bindings around top and back edges, and along fingerboard. Top edge shows 3 thin black accent purfling lines. Ivoroid soundhole rosette shows ivoroid concentric circles with thin black accent lines between. Black pickguard. Gabon Ebony bridge. Ebony bridge pins and Ebony end wedge. Antique’d brass tuners with ivoroid buttons.
This Taylor gets my vote for “one of best ones” we’ve had in our store in years. The bracing is the old tried and true normal X-bracing.
Its easy to see that we are impressed with this guitar. And… you will be impressed, too, after FedEx drops it off at your house…
Comes with lots of good will and nice sound.
