This 2015 Bishline Danny Barnes is a Mahogany banjo with a Maple three-ply rim and no tone ring; the rim has been machined to act as the tone ring.
These all come with a factory installed Fishman bridge pickup that sounds great with this banjo.

The banjo peghead has an Ebony overlay with a layer of lighter wood underneath. The Ebony peghead face has Bishline abalone logo inlayed with a crown inlayed in the center, and an abalone edged Ebony truss rod cover near the nut. The tuners are Nickel Gotoh with pearloid buttons. The fingerboard is a flat Ebony fingerboard with blue and green abalone stylized blocks that are more like bowties in certain places. The Ebony fingerboard is bound with flamed Maple binding; the 5th string side has black dots acting as position markers on the side of the binding.

The hardware is a mix of Nickel tuners, tailpiece, coordinator rods, hooks and nuts, and a black anodized tension hoop and flange. This banjo has an Ebony heel cap which is also accented by a Maple line underneath.  The neck on this banjo is a beautiful ropey grained mahogany. There is a nice contoured Mahogany armrest. The pickup is in the bridge in the middle foot with a black metal jack just to the side of the tailpiece mounted on the hooks. The resonator is fantastically quilted Mahogany and the top and back edges are bound with highly flamed Maple binding.

This is a really nice banjo that sounds great and is in near perfect condition. Comes with a good hard case.
