This 2015 Martin D-18 “Reimagined” is a great sounding dreadnought. It has a high grade Spruce top and really nice Mahogany back, sides, and neck. The Mahogany peghead overlay has the “Martin & Co.” decal at the top, and Nickel Waverly tuners with Nickel 3- lobed buttons. Bone nut. The Ebony fingerboard has abalone dot inlays and white side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. The Mahogany neck is a comfortable rounded “V” profile and there is a Nickel strap button installed on the correct position on the heel. Ebony bridge with Ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, and a bone saddle.
The very nice Spruce top has a tortoise pickguard and the “D-18 style” soundhole rosette – three concentric circles with the center ring of nine black and white alternating lines. The Spruce top is in very nice shape with only the smallest amount of dings that are hard to spot. The Mahogany back and sides are really nice with only the slight signs this instrument has been used. There is a single black strip down the center of the Mahogany back, and there is a black end wedge. Pickup jack in end pin.
This instrument has really good commanding sound. Comes with the original hard case.
