A Gibson that doesn’t break the bank, with the same vintage tone and comfortable playability you are looking for.

This 2016 Gibson J-35 has a nice Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back, sides, and neck. The peghead overlay has the “Gibson” script at the top and the “Banner” decal in the center. Antique white buttons with nickel tuning machines. Truss rod cover before the bone nut. The Rosewood fingerboard has mother of pearl dot inlays and white side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. The Mahogany neck is a very comfortable “C” profile with a slightly thinner 1-11/16″ width at the nut. Nickel strap button installed in the correct location at the heel.

The Sitka Spruce top is really nice, excluding an area towards the bottom close to the cream binding where it looks to have taken a pretty sizeable bang. See pictures. Rosewood bridge with Ebony pins and a bone saddle. Very cool 40’s style Firestripe pickguard. Single circle soundhole rosette of black/white/black alternating lines. One volume and one tone wheel found inside the soundhole. The Mahogany back and sides are very clean besides one or two small stray dings. The same cream binding found on the top can be seen on the back. Pickup access acts as the end pin.

This 2016 Gibson J-35 is in great shape besides the before mentioned ding on the Sitka top. Very nice sound on this newer Gibson. Comes with the original Gibson hard case.
