The finish is satin Nitro-Cellulose lacquer that gives the instrument a final lustre that is quite handsome. The overall build of the guitar shows excellent craftsmanship and materials. The overall look is quite nice. Joel Shoemaker has an eye for colors and they all meld together well on this guitar. The overall sound is very interesting… It sounds very opened-up, with lots of abrupt attack when needed, but not overly crisp. This is a very good guitar. Its a joy to flatpick or to fingerpick.
Comes with K&K pickup installed by Joel Shoemaker. Comes with excellent set-up and an Ameritage Hard Case. This same guitar, if ordered as a new guitar, would cost ~$4500.
