Wow, what a great guitar in great condition! This 2016 National NRP Steel roundneck makes you wish all the old Nationals were this good. The body looks great with no plating. It’s just finely brushed steel that looks fully dressed without a mirror sheen. The neck is very nice, straight grain Mahogany with a V profile under the first few frets transitioning to a nice C shape near the heel. Antique’d 3-on-a-plate tuners with old-style cream buttons. A metal tag on back of peg head has the serial number engraved on it. The peg head face has the name National cut into it. Gabon Ebony radiused fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and small cream side dots. 25″ scale length. Body has National traditional f-holes in upper bouts and the diamond sieve cover plate with detachable hand rest. Traditional tail piece and strap pin screw. Strap button professionally installed on the heel.
Condition wise, this guitar shows very little signs of playing wear. Only slight signs of string wear on frets. The sound is very good and valid. It is very powerful and meaty with the great hollow bucket tone.
Comes with hard case.
