This 2017 Streeper “Black Cherry” Quilted Maple 5-String Banjo is in real nice shape and only shows significant playing signs on the armrest. no fret wear. This banjo was used to demonstrate Steve Streeper’s banjo building at several festivals a year for the past few years. The banjo doesn’t have any damage but it was previously used as a demo.

Double cut peghead with Rosewood peghead overlay. Streeper logo at top with lots of floral inlays, similar to a Flying Eagle peghead pattern. Truss rod cavity above nut. Flying Eagle Pearl inlays in the flat Rosewood fingerboard. Masterton Pearl block at 21st fret is blank and can be inscribed. The finish is a Black Cherry sunburst, the neck shows good figure striping, and the back of the resonator and the side walls show very heavy Quilt figure that is enhanced by the Black Cherry coloring. Nickle Gotoh tuners on four main tuners and a Nickle Schaller for the fifth string tuner, all with pearloid buttons. Presto tailpiece and newer Five Star head.

Set up well and sounds great, comes with a Hard Case
