Very nice open-back banjo. All original hardware in pot, except for newer “No-Knot” tailpiece. 11 13/16″ pot, with 30 hooks and bracket band.
Nice reproduction neck by unknown maker.

Exc condition. SN: 49790. 11 13/16″ Pot.
Conversion to 5-string by unknown neck maker.

This is a very nice old early 1920’s Vega Tubaphone with 11 13/16″ pot. Excellent copy neck with beautiful Maple figure and nicely engraved inlays in Ebony peghead overlay and Ebony fingerboard. Original dowel stick is installed in this newer repro neck. All parts original except newer “no knot” tailpiece. Everything is in great shape to play and it sounds great. Four Gotoh main tuners, with Schaller 5th.
Repaired crack in side of neck heel (not broken clear through).

Comes with gig bag. Some new and used hard shell cases available.
