Description

SN: 8090-61  •  1 1/4″ Width at Nut  •  Ball Bearing

Figured Maple neck with flat, Rosewood fingerboard. Fiddle peghead with “Gibson Master-tone” inlaid in Pearl at top, and style 3 inlays below. Bone nut. Pot is typical Gibson construction from the period – 3/4″, 3-ply Maple rim. Tube & plate flange. Ball-bearing tone ring with inside bead raised to make it appear as an arch-top banjo. Fingerboard has “Cut-Diamond” style 3 inlay pattern. Slotted tension hoop for original cobra hooks. All-original hardware. The finish of the neck and resonator match very well. Resonator finish is all-original.

Only light evidence of prior player wear on the neck. Banjo is setup well, and sounds great.
