In 1960 or so you would have been a luck kid to have your parents buy this guitar for you! Similar in size to a “000” guitar, this guitar is not only well appointed and made quite well but also sounds real good. Original parts, except for missing the original heel cap. Cream bindings around neck, top and back of the guitar, with 5-ply purfling inside top binding edge. Peg head is in nice shape. Newer bone nut. Radiused Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays and black side dot position markers. Rosewood pin less bridge. Original red tortoise pickguard. Non-0riginal handmade woodburned art beneath bridge depicting a dove on a branch with a sun overhead. Honey colored Mahogany back and sides are gorgeous! Lots of figure, shimmer, and straight grains. This guitar has ladder bracing but sounds much warmer than you think it should. It has just a hint of a “box-y” tone. Some lacquer pitting on back of neck from bad foam on stands, etc. We are contemplating giving it a “speed neck” to give it a smoother and faster feel. No cracks in the body or neck. One crunch area 1.5″ by 7/16″ that has not been glued on the side of the lower bout.

This guitar has been recently set up and is ready to play with good action. Neck and frets have no problems. Comes with new hard case.
