High grade German Spruce top with nice Sunburst. Indian Rosewood back and sides and Mahogany neck. Multiple purflings on top with Tortoise binding. Multiple Ivoroid bindings on soundhole rosette. Back has Tortoise binding and black/white purfling. Fingerboard and peghead have Ivoroid and Tortoise binding. Haircut peghead. Radiused Ebony fingerboard with graduated Pearl Dot inlays. Fire stripe pickguard. Ebony bridge, pins, endpin, and heelcap. Back has decorative center seam inlay with multiple lines of wood. Ebony peghead overlay with Collings logo inlaid with pearl. Gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood buttons. Bone nut and saddle.
This guitar is in wonderful condition with minimal evidence of prior ownership. There are just a few scratches on the pickguard. The sound is bright and very open. Great for fingerpicking and flatpicking and playability is excellent.
Comes with the original hard case.
