Dreadnaut guitar with choice Indian Rosewood back and sides and Honduran Mahogany neck. Torrefied Sitka Spruce top with Adirondack Red Spruce bracing. No tongue brace.
Rosewood peghead overlay with Collings logo inlaid at top. Nickel Waverly pre-War style open-back tuners. Bone nut. Ebony fingerboard with cut diamond inlays. Ebony bridge with bone intonated saddle and Ebony bridge pins. Tortoise pickguard. Ivoroid bindings around top and back of body, heelcap and end wedge. Ebony endpin.
Wooden herringbone trim around edge of top. Wooden zipper back strip in Rosewood back. Back of neck shows diamond volute.
This guitar is brand spanking new as I write this… It already sounds “broken in” and mature. It has tremendous growl and power.
