This is a really good example of a re-issue Vega from the Deering company. Black peghead veneer shows Vega logo inlay at top and engraved Vega Star in center. Truss rod cover near nut. Ebony nut. Ebony flat fingerboard has pearl dot inlays and shows beautiful wood grain. Frets scalloped away after the 17th fret for ease of right hand playing. 12″ pot with two coordinator rod neck attachment and 24 hooks and nuts. Shoe construction. Old Vega-style armrest. All nickel hardware. Entire banjo has a handsome chocolate satin finish. Nickel tuners with matching cream buttons.
Frets show no evidence of wear. No evidence of wear on the banjo head. Original bridge is in fine shape.
Banjo is setup to play.
Comes with original hard case.
