Very fine Sitka Spruce top with beautiful color, packed with medullary rays. Back and sides are highly figured Maple. 3-piece Maple neck with two Rosewood stringers. Multiple binding showing on all quarters of the guitar with 6-ply top binding, and 4-ply side binding, back binding, and heelcap. 3-ply bound fingerboard. 5-ply bound headstock. Bound inside F-holes.
Comes with original hard shell case. Rounded Venetian cutaway tone bar construction. Ebony peghead overlay has Epiphone inlaid at top of peghead, large flower pot in center, and Byrdland inscribed in truss rod cover. Ebony radiused fingerboard has large block inlay similar to a Gibson L-5. Beautiful swirly tortoise pickguard with 5-ply binding. All gold hardware. Grover Imperial tuners. Gold strap button installed at factory. Two humbucking pickups with Gold covers. Inlaid Ebony adjustable bridge with gold Tune-A-Matic saddle. Gold trapeze tailpiece. Four control knobs and pickup switch selector.
This guitar feels great, is made really well, and is in nearly brand new condition.
