This Fender ’52 Vintage Reissue “Thin Skin” Telecaster is in great shape. We just took this Tele over to Eric Daw to remove the factory capacitor on neck pickup and rewired for industry standard three-way-switch. It has some spread out dings and scratches on the body but is in great playing shape and sounds fantastic plugged in with the recent pickup work. It was also set-up by Eric Daw.
The Roasted Maple neck is shaped very comfortable, and it has nearly no sign of wear. Black dot inlays and side dot position markers. The frets have light dent marks that can easily be removed with a light milling. The factory finish is a good bit thinner than your typical new Fender Telecaster, which helps with the resonance. Black plastic pickguard, 3-way switch, one volume and tone knob. The saddle has upgraded Glendale slanted saddle pieces which make much better intonation.
This Fender ’52 Reissue “Thin Skin” Telecaster is in great shape and it is a lot of fun to play. Comes with the original tweed hard case.
