Description

New condition.  SN# RAK 034

New condition. Traditionally built like the original 1954 Les Paul guitar used by Robby Krieger; Mahogany body with carved Maple cap, Gibson logo inlaid in pearl, Pearl block inlays. Lamp black finish. Multi-ply binding on top, back and peghead. Multiple laying pickguard, Single-ply binding on fingerboard. Mahogany neck with radiused ebony fretboard. P-90 p/u in bridge position, Seymour Duncan mini HB at neck position. Gold hardware, including: “Waffle Back” tuners with metal tulip buttons, stop tailpiece and tune-a-matic bridge. Even the strap buttons are the old ’50’s style Gibson always used to use.

Artistic care has been taken to make this guitar look and feel and sound correctly like Mr Krieger’s original that he used on L.A. Woman and other recordings.
Only 200 were planned for production. Only the first 50 made were personally inspected, played and approved by Robby Krieger.

Multiple bindings on top and back of body, and along peghead. Pickguard is multi-layered to continue the multi-binding effect. Single binding on fretboard.
Comes with original  Gibson hard-shell case.
