This well-designed and well-constructed mandolin tailpieces are perhaps the new high standard of excellence in the mandolin parts world.
They are milled from billets and are designed for easy re-stringing.
Base plate has easy posts to retain the string loops. Two “O-rings” are recessed into the base to dampen some vibration and to allow the lid to snap into place.
For accurate installation, the back end of the base plate has a narrower “hinge” for one-time slight bending of the plate so as to position the leading edge correctly in relation to the arch of the top and the height of the bridge.
We try to keep them in stock in Gold or Nickel plating.
