Mahogany neck with radiused ebony fingerboard and black mother of pearl dot inlays. Quilted mahogany peghead overlay with JWalker logo at top. 1 3/4″ width at nut. Waverly tuners with Black mother of pearl tuner buttons. Ebony bridge, boxwood pins with black mother of pearl inlays. 2 5/16″ pin spacing at bridge.

Tone jumps out of this guitar when played fingerstyle. Smooth and easy. Rich and resonant with nice lows and crisp treble. This guitar also holds up well to picking and strumming. Comfortable to hold and a joy to play.

Comes with great hard case.

John Walker says of his Gus Creek model, “I designed this guitar while I was in Seattle. I had an Engelmann top that was too small for most guitars that I had built before, so I drew a small body that would fit the wood. I really liked the shape that resulted, and the deep body gives it a surprisingly big voice.”
