Excellent sounding hand-built copy of a 1957 tweed champ. 5 watts RMS. All the features of an original tweed champ, but more thoughtfully built with individual tubes chosen for best matching for tone. The sound is typical tweed champ tone that is flatter than later styles that had a mid-range scoop.
This is a blueprinted circuit design, meaning all the components are tested for compatibility. Many other subtle things have been done to add to the total authentic sound.
The maker of Bigfork amps performs blues gig sometimes only using 2 of these champs as his main amps on stage.
